Company History

Thomaston Oil was founded by Julien and Norma Pinette in 1985, and has remained a family owned and operated company ever since. In the early 1990's, their sons Michael and Jason began working for the company, learning all aspects of the business. Eventually, the sons took over the management responsibilities of the company and have helped continue the growth of the business. Thomaston Oil was founded and built upon the principles of honesty, integrity, and commitment. Following in their father's footsteps, the Pinette family continues to follow these principles and offer superior service to the customers of western Connecticut.
